I have always thought that you are not where you are given the most things, but where you are given the most love, and that is what happens with the cafeteria of the Hotel Comodoro, which is one of the favorites, not only for me but also for the workers of my management.
One of the functions of my area of work is the organization of events, congresses, workshops and scientific forums. As director of Knowledge Management we must disseminate geological knowledge and one of the ways to socialize knowledge and disseminate it is through the realization of these scientific activities.
For such reasons, we must look for places where we can develop these events that many have national and international character. Among these places, one of the ones we attend the most is the Comodoro Hotel halls and within them the Cafeteria La Cubana.
Recently we had a Scientific Talle, with the objective and we decided to do it there. This workshop was for only a few people and despite the high prices we decided that this was the ideal place. When someone asked me why to do it there and not in another place I gave him an explanation that I now put at his disposal.
Reasons to come back to this café again and again
- The human quality and the pleasant treatment of their workers.
- The quality of the service they provide and the great variety of offers.
- The neatness of the place and its cleanliness.
- The facilities to pay for the services offered.
- The pleasant climate of the place.
- The combination of coffee drinks, snacks, television service and music.
- The culture that the workers have about coffee and the services they offer.
- The promptness with which they serve you.
- The good service they offer.
If all of the above is not enough, it should be added that due to the working relationships we have and the great amount of activities we have carried out together, we have created a bond that goes beyond the purely work-related and we are like a big family.
When we finished explaining the reasons for returning to this place to do our workshop, the response was unanimous and once again we were in this cafeteria doing our national workshop, to accredit the Geoinformativa magazine, corresponding to the Institute of Geology and Paleontology.
