Hello, dear hivers and member of #SublimeSunday community.
Today is Mother's Day in Venezuela. The weather was pretty gray and there was a lot of rain. This is good as there's been a lot of dust in the air. With this pouring water, things settle and the skies look clear.
This day has that highlight. I don't recall any Mother's Day with rain. My grandmother didn't either. And she's 86. So, that's something to say. She's happy her plants got some water. Not that she doesn't water her plants but this is even more water lasting for days.
Here you can see the ladies of the hour. From left to right: my aunt, my grandmother, my mom. They are smiling because there's a lot prepared for them today.
And when these days come, the name of the game is food. There's always a lot of food to share in family and enjoy the day between stories or preparing things and taking drinks. So, even when it was a gray day, everything was sunny under the roof.
However, once we arrived home, my mother decreed dinner off today's menu and we couldn't be more thankful. The aftermath of such days is not having more room for food until the next day. Hopefully, all those who celebrated Mother's Day today had a wonderful time.
That's all for now. I hope you have had a great day.
Stay Awesome!
