The weather in the UK has finally levelled out a little, quite mild - even warm in a way although still chilly mornings and if you catch the wind cold. This Volcano themed climb and slide almost looks like it is ready to erupt!
And despite the clouds I had a good pre easter break from work to visit relatives, and get some much needed outdoor time.
So we had another sneak walk around York Maize Maze while it is still in preparation for what should be a bumper year - with new attractions being prepared to go alongside the centre attraction of the Maize maze.
The trailer ride has many fun displays to see, a walk round gives you a more in depth look of the clever and fun interactive displays some of which literally move out toward you when running.
The fun and entertaining maze crow is one big feature, and it only just dawned on me the clever pun - The Crow Bar here features two gold painted - crow bars, traditionally a levering tool to separate panels and get into things.
They even has some dinos in the mini jurrasic maize maze - this one has been nibbling on last years corn.
There are any beasts to find in this attraction, it's going to be a blast when it opens this summer.
Away from the maze and I also had a wander around a farm, and met some young inquisitive cows.
Enjoying the sun, and safely behind barriers with a fresh stock of hay to much on - they were quite full of fun including this tongue twister.
I took well over 30 photos in the hope of getting a couple of good ones, this one in particular made me smile - more luck then judgement!
Disclaimer this was a supervised tour with experienced farm hands - cows can be friendly but also spook easily and have a herd mentality - so don't just jump into a field of cows and hope to grab a few photos - they charge fast and have been known to trample people to death - to safely experience farm animals look up your local open farm that accepts visitors - so it is fun and safe.
