Why reinvent the wheel???
Why fix what ain't broken??? hahahaha
When I think of zombies - THIS is what I think of...
Even going to LOOK through pixabay, pexels and unsplash for zombie pictures totally freaked me out! LOL The way their bodies move, the inability to communicate, the never-ending, slow creep, the heads at weird angles, the spookiest eyes ever, the flesh falling off..... Need I really say more?!?! ughhhhh. They are TERRIFYING. How in the world could I find something to write about for the challenge this week?? LOL
Well, as the post started out - why reinvent the wheel?
There is ONE zombie that I fell head over heels for. hehehehe And he is already perfect, so instead of creating HIM.... I'm going to create new connections for him!!!
YOU are going to meet him, and hopefully, you'll feel his magnetic pull also.
Guys AND girls should want to hang out with this special zombie dude!!! And who is he?
Well. He is R.
Simply R.
You see, zombies have become less and less human over time, and they simply lose that connection with their humanity. They don't even remember their full names. So - R it is. In the movie, R is played by the most adorable human being ever to become a zombie.
You might remember his face from other movies such as X-Men, or the remake of Mad Max? But this zombie movie is by far my favorite movie featuring him! He brings humor, love, and ironically, all of the human emotions that are lacking in zombies! And that's what makes his character so appealing! Once a zombie, always a zombie - right??? WRONG!
And if they were alone in a world without conflict - just the two of them trying to understand one another, perhaps it would have been a smooth transition of evolution for our dear R. But what kind of movie would that make??? Dull, boring and possibly forgettable. Better that we throw in a LOT of action, a LOT of humor, and a lot of testosterone from an Army General that just HAPPENS to be Julie's protective father! And who could do that better than award winning actor, John Malkovich.
I have been duped into seeing several zombie movies and my adrenaline STILL gets pumping at the thought of the "zombie chases" from the films. I swore to never watch another one again - until I saw this trailer in the theater and knew I HAD to see it! I was not disappointed. And I hope you won't be either! hehehe

What DO you think the R stood for in his name? If you've watched the movie - don't spoil the fun for others. hehehe Let's see if people who haven't seen it can take a wild guess. If you think about it - it makes perfect sense for the plot! hehehe
