The warm weather continues as we walked around the National Trust property, Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire. I think this might be the last flush of summer.
There's plenty of walks that you can explore and it's lovely whatever the season is. I am looking forward to autumn though when all the leaves change to lovely reds and oranges. In the meantime, there are some lovely views over the lake.
We always tried to pick some bullrushes as kids but they were always too near the water. There's loads of them now.
Obviously, the pooch enjoyed it. The place is that big that there's areas where you can safely let your dog off the lead for a much needed run around.
As it's been a good summer, the birds on the lake have had several families.
You can visit the park many times and still find footpaths that you've never been on as there's around 3,800 acres to explore, including 20 miles of cycle routes. Most of the footpaths are flat for the ... ahem older walker!
