I decided to go back to the spot where the sun was out yesterday to take a few more photos of the wildflowers on the roadside. Unfortunately, as always in the UK, where you can get four seasons in one day, it was overcast and raining.
The rain had brought out the colour of the shrubs, though, which was nice.
I did find a bit of colour with the bluebells, but they are beginning to wilt.
Thankfully, it was a well worn footpath. It is quite a popular area for dog walking. It was also good not to come across any mud for a change.
It’s funny how a bit of rain can change the mood of a walk. Even though the ground was damp, it added to the atmosphere. I’m glad I went back in the end, even though I didn't get much sun, it was still a nice walk, and over the horizon the sun did try to come out at one point. Unfortunately, it didn't try hard enough!
