It was a sunny Easter Sunday morning, perfect for a nice stroll among the lovely blossoms and colourful flowers that were in full bloom in my local town park.
The cherry blossom trees look especially pretty each spring. Unfortunately, the blossom is fleeting but when the flowers fall, they leave behind a colourful carpet of pink that adds a nice touch to the ground. They even make the grate look good!
In the distance, there is the cricket clubhouse. Cricket has been played in the park for over 100 years.
The bandstand hosts many outdoor concerts during the summer months, where the audience can picnic on the grass.
I'm not sure what tree this is but the yellow caught my eye.
After walking in the park for half an hour, I had an ice cream from the van parked just down the road from the main entrance. The local park was definitely vibrant with spring flowers and colours.
If you are religious, Happy Easter! If you are not, enjoy your Easter eggs!
