It was quite overcast this morning as we walked the dog. I was quite pleased it wasn't as hot. I find cooler air much better for walking in.
I say we took the dog for a walk, but it was more like a drag to start off with.
Passing the farmer's field, we spotted coloured hay bales. Sometimes, the farmers use coloured wraps to raise awareness of certain causes and charities.
Pink is for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, purple bales highlight the Children's Medical & Research Foundation.
The pied wagtails were dashing around on the wall, with their tails bobbing up and down. They are funny little characters. After we watched them for a while, we carried on our walk.
It warmed up later on, so we called in for an ice cream.
The customers queuing up were a mixed bunch!
The queue was quite long but there was a nice kawasaki motorcycle to look at. I don't particularly like motorcycles but I like the look of them.
Do not lean on the cabinet as it scares the ice cream, apparently.😁
The pooch enjoyed his ice cream too.
After a quick stop for refreshments, we made our way back home through the wood.
