My world has been a whirlwind of late, most recently changing my bedroom from ↑This↑ To ↓This↓
But this has been a project accomplished in stages culminating a few days ago, so not really #sublimesunday fodder.
Today, Sunday Feb 13 2021, I continued trying to get my STUD-LEO up and running but first:
I took a shower and warshed me hairs
I've done some recording and video creation with everything Strewn hither and yon
But that was unsatisfactory, especially since I acquired some new gear
That I really didn't know how to use, trial and error got me some results, but...
Then I got a new/old desk last week at Goodwill (a thrift store)
So disconnecting, moving then reconnecting computer, mixer, mics and amps, took most of this last week.
I also broke down and reconnected a computer sound system that hasn't been used at all in 2 yrs, which is far superior to what I had been using (can't find that image dang it)
Not quite that bad ha ha
But lets just say, it was a mess, with continually moving stuff, and not taking proper care to keep wires from tangling, it proved nearly impossible to get anything done.
A few days ago, the friend who gave me the new/old board, finally hooked up and I got the manual for it, so now the onus was on me.
Today:
I changed the hooks on the wall for a board with a lot more places to hang cords.
The table thing under it had been what the computer and board were on before (and if you look under that top counter, there is the MONO PA power amp I'd been using)
Then
The desk oriented so that if I am over there working on a song, I have access to the controls (you can see the backs of the newly reattached computer sound system too)
Flom de udder side (keep in mind, nothing has been reconnected to the new/old mixer yet)
And I still have a ways to go (hopefully I won't lose my mind just yet)
I had to take a break and, like the spy 🕵️♂️, I had to "come in from the cold" (wasn't that cold, but I'd stirred up a lot of dust and my COPD was getting to me)
Now I'm warshing a load of clothes, then I'll go back out and get back to it.
Just so you'll know, this is one of the things I've been working on.

This is far from finished, and I've made great strides in fixing all the mistakes and sound issues.
Be sure that when I get it done, I will be sharing it here with you all; this was the second attempt, using the old piano I have, I have a much improved, version on the electric keys, but you can't see it yet
