These adventures are the best part of my life. I can possibly live a permanent life like this, exploring and adventuring the hidden treasures of each place. What amuses me is how beauty of some of these places go unnoticed. Well, I do understand, not everyone loves this, some of my friends when they look at it, they tell me, what's there to see in this. This was the Friday adventure, since it's a weekend for us, me and hubby like to get on the wheels and do some exploration. Oman is surrounded by Mountains on one side and then on the other side is the Arabian Sea coast line running all through the Country. Some of these drives are spectacular. This weekend it was about the Mountains and not the Sea.
We carried some food and hit the road with 2 of our other friends. This trip needed a 4 wheel drive, even the normal sedan car would go but it would not be very convenient as some of these roads are very rough. Ours is a sedan so we hoped on in to our friend's car. It was a day trip so there was not much to carry except for some food and water, we were to drive up to the mountains but not from proper road side, it was the drive from the other side, where there is no proper road. On these roads we absolutely will not find anything, there are no settlements here, nor any shops or availability of anything. Normally people come to these off sites for camping. Our idea was to just take the drive and return back.

We took a couple of halts just to enjoy the surroundings and taking some pictures.
It was a fantastic day full of fun and entertainment. Next weekend we again plan to go to another top but we plan to stay there overnight and not return back the same day. It would be nice to soak up in these energies. When I visit to such places I feel like we are the only few people in this world and it feels so nice, but then as soon as I get back to the city again, reality hits :-)
