No, that wasn't a "Moto Hive Meetup", but it could be one day... 😃 What is positive is that the HIVE bag from the last HiveFest was present, promoting HIVE among bikers! 😃
Jokes aside, last Sunday, we had a lovely motorcycle event (or the better word is a meeting) in our small town... Before the big touristic expansion of whole this area in Spain, our town was a place for many motorcycle gatherings, and unfortunately, some other "not-that-legal" events... Racing on the streets during late hours, which was extremely uncomfortable for the image that town was building... A quiet place for families and retired folks... That changed during the last decade or two, but we still have at least 2 of these motorcycle meetings but in a more civilized manner...
To be honest, I expected much more from this year's event than previous years (pre-Covid), these events had a lot more participants, and also, a lot more audience... I have barely found motorcycles to take photos...
Motorcycles were mostly parked outside the park (the place where the event was held), so I clicked a few times with my mobile phone when I saw a bike worth photographing... :)
"When HIVE goes over $3, I'm buying this one!", says this Hivian on the pic... 😂
There was a small stage in the middle of the park where a couple of rock groups were changing during the day... I got the impression that they were actually bikers who came to the event as some of them weren't at the "expected" level... 😃 What surprised me the most is that the event didn't last too long... I mean it started in the morning hours, but in the afternoon, when I took these photos, they were packing their stuff! If you know how Spaniards are partying, you know that's not a typical behavior... 😂 As I live close to the park, that was good news, as I could sleep better... 😂
One of the rare stands at the event... I'm not sure if they were selling anything but their biking club and their event...
A few photos were taken at the other side of the park... A few classics and some more modern bikes... I'm not an expert, but they look like that... 😃
As I mentioned in my previous posts, we had a very long heat wave, and that Sunday (2 days ago), we had a hailstorm just before this event... The temperature went down, and we had a chance to see the clouds after a long time! I had to go to the beach and take photos of it!
We got a phone call from friends that they had arrived at the park, so we went back to meet them... On the way back, saw this great old bicycle/motorcycle that I missed...
Is it a motorcycle or a bicycle? Is it "hand made", or it has its brand? I have no idea and if you know, let me know in the comment section!
As the day was beautiful, we went for a walk and ice cream with our friends! I hope you liked this short photo story...
