I promised one Hivian () to publish a post that would have something for him, but I got so distracted that, in the end, I'm almost 2 weeks overdue with it... Anyways, here we are... Another awesome (mostly) nature walk, with some unexpected "specials" that I got "on the road"... I love pleasant surprises! Who doesn't? 😃 I hope you will enjoy!
Btw. if you are following my blog, you have noticed that I am jumping around multiple topics/niches... The thing is that I want to keep this more like a "human" space, where you can see different aspects of my life, way of thinking, working, or "lazing." (Is that a word? 😃)
I know that some of you asked me for more crypto/markets/tutorials content, but there is also another group of people that enjoys this type of content... I'm especially happy when I see people in the comment section getting inspired by these walks, going outside themselves, reconnecting with nature, and doing something similar! That's very powerful, and I suppose gets us a lot of benefits too... Calms us after a tough week, or disconnects from the "world lunacy"...
But sometimes, images like this sadden me a lot... So many fruits finished on the ground, rotten and not used... In only one photo, you have enough Vitamin C for a whole month!!! All these wasted oranges could prevent multiple diseases and improve the health of many!
On the other side, I suppose those rotten oranges will find some use by bugs, insects, and other species that live on the ground... I already saw birds eating juicy tangerines... 😃
Speaking of birds, one of the specific fruits of this area is the loquat, and birds LOVE THEM! As they are much sweeter than oranges, and softer... Ideal for a good birdie meal... Because of that, agriculturists are setting up these huge nets that you can see in the photo above, to protect the fruit from birds, as they would eat it all! 😃
Very soon, the loquat will bloom, and it has such a strong aromatic sense that it could take you to a trance (just kidding... :) But it is strong and very specific)
Our next station is a relatively-new Riding school built a few years ago... During my walks in this area for the last few years, allowed me to see how certain fields have been bought and reused for different things... To be honest, I can't remember what was at this place before the horse stables... Maybe an abandoned piece of land? Today, it's great to see kids learning horse riding and enjoying time with these magnificent animals!
Here we are! At the surprise on this walk, which reminded me of , as he mentioned he did a pigeons-post recently... 😃 While walking, over my head I heard some noise... To my surprise, it was a flock of colored pigeons! I see something like that 2-3 times in the past, so this time wasn't that surprising to see yellow, pink, blue, or green pigeons in the sky... But, still, it is a very nice view!
While the birds were dancing in the sky, their owners were sipping the beer in the shadow... Enjoying Beer Saturday? 😃
Let's play a small game... Can you spot a cat in this photo (above) without looking at the next photo???
There it is! 😃
I knew I saw this leaf somewhere, but the beautiful flowers took my attention, and I couldn't figure it out earlier... Running the photo through Google, now it makes a lot of sense! This is a (Sweet) Bay leaf tree! I remember my mom using the leaf with sauerkraut, and I know it's used a lot in Spanish cuisine too!
And this enormous lemon plantation takes one's breath away... Sometimes, while trees are blooming, or like this time, when they are full of fruit! Btw, I saw the banner at the entrance of this field saying it's for sale... So, if you want it, let me know, and I will try to find the phone number... 😉
Not many orange groves have this setup... Well-maintained trees + an awesome green grass between trees! Imagine a small blanket, a basket full of food, and your favorite person in the middle of this grove! 😍
And on the opposite side of that, you have the entrance of the "cursed castle", ideal for a first scene of a horror movie... 😂 You already have that "lovely couple" as main characters... 😃
It looks a bit confusing, but we are doing a different route today... Not going toward the small church and old aqueduct, but toward the town cemetery...
I don't like too much climbing and hiking up to the hills or mountains, but this late evening sea/town view, and sunset behind the mountains, was worth it!

and down we go... to the old town city center... and yes, you can go by car on these streets... Well, not to the one on the right photo... 😂

The night has fallen... and I did the last photo of the day... the last look from the train station at the church on the top of the hill, old town center...
How was your weekend? Did you visit nature and recharge your batteries? 🙂
Have an awesome upcoming week!
Thank you for your time.
