Today I will share a fun day at work when we and the kids got to dress up as princesses and Prinses etc.

It was time for NOBEL Fest!

Exciting, and this was the view we had walking to our Tables.

And we talked about the swedish Royal family and how they get to dress up every year for the BIG Nobel fest.

ALFRED NOBEL

Alfred Bernhard Nobel, born
October 21, 1833 in Stockholm,
died December 10, 1896 in
San Remo, Liguria, Italy.

He was a Swedish chemist, inventor
of dynamite, industrialist, donor, engineer and founder of the
Nobel Prize.

The Nobel family descends from
the Uppland district chief Petter Nobelius, who was originally from
Östra Nöbbelöv in Skåne sweden.

His inventions could - and also came
to - on the one hand be used for war purposes, but on the other hand
he praised peace.

This dualism can be said to be the
basis for the formulation of his testamentary ordinances on
the purpose of the Nobel Prize
"to the greatest benefit of mankind"
and the special prize of peace.

Alfred Nobel said that his dynamite
led to peace and gave the
following explanation:
"When it is clear what power there
is in explosives and gunpowder and what damage they can cause, one will refrain from using them".

He was very interested in science
and art and was honored for this
in several ways.
