My #sublimesunday share, as inspired by . Today's Sunday adventure was spent as a family hike through our local marshlands. With a little rain on the horizon, we had a good spring adventure; warm temperatures, rain, and occassional May sun.
The weekend blew by way too fast again. Yesterday was spent dealing with some food sickness...no idea how I managed that Friday night, but no fun. Fortunately, the stomach was in a better spot today for some fammily Sunday funday fun time. With all of that said, there was plenty of green to enjoy...
It wasn't all green, water, or marshlands; I didn't bring my camera on the first stint of the adventure, so I used my Pixel 7 to get a few shots...one was a lonely mallard duck sitting on a log :
We also found an intereting snake nestled in a small tree. I'm not sure what the snake is known for, or even what kind of snake it was, but Hattie was digging it.
There were plenty of red breasted blackbirds, Canadian geese, and even a few Wood Ducks, but the Pixel had a difficult time zooming in on them. Then the rain began, so we turned around to head back to the vehicle.
All in all, it was a decent day of weather, but the family adventure was fun. With my stomach almost back to normal, we headed home and grilled up some cheeseburgers and veggie kabovs for dinner...with some hot dogs too, of course. No luck on photos for that, however...
Thanks for checking out my #sublimesunday post. Until next weekend...
