For this week's #sublimesunday, as inspired by , we went for a family walk around the neighborhood to get outside. No big plans for the marsh, quarry, or even the bluffs; we decided to hang out as a family today as there are some big changes coming at us soon. Not bad...just different. More on that later!
For this #sublimesunday, we strolled around to look at the August sights in Wisconsin. Despite the day being overcast all day long, there was plenty of green to admire from afar.
There was also the occasional fungi to photograph...we like our fungi finds.
There were some planted flowers too; some wild and some invasive species. I don't know what the one below actually is.
There were some yellows of course too...
A bit of rusty bridal veil, too.
The most interesting thing we found was this old house:
It has such an interesting composition. I've walked by this place what feels like a million times, and I was always curious its history. I did a quick Google search on it, and the residence appears to be on an unofficial historic registry. Hmmm...I'm curious even more now. I might have to do a follow share on Hive with some more photos and research. I always dig a good historical mystery - maybe I could even take the drone up high to get some shots too.
My partners in adventure...on to the next one! Thanks for checking out my #sublimesunday post and I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend too! Until next Sunday, have a wonderful week this week...
