A Sublime Sunday with the Monarchs

For this week's #sublimesunday, as inspired by Hive account@c0ff33a, I wanted to share some monarch butterflies I was able to photograph in Winona, Minnesota, this past weekend. I love my pollinators; monarchs are one of my favorite pollinators to watch and film.

The area I found these butterflies was near an art gallery named the Minnesota Maritime Museum. It is nestled along the Mississippi River; there is a fantastic native prairie flower garden nearby near the museum, and despite the enormous amount of chiggers that live there, it's a fun place to walk through.

Just be sure to wear pants! Trust me, wear pants!!
