Six Sublime Sunday Deeply Dreamed Feathered Friends

 
 

I can't believe it's already the last Sunday of the month, and we're winding down the last days of #HiveBoPoMo. Granted this month ended up being crazy busy in a way that wasn't expected, but I'm hopeful that the groundwork has been laid in many different areas for things to get better for everyone in our household.

So as I've been doing for the past few Hive Blog Posting Months, every Sublime Sunday I go through some of my favorite shots from the previous week, and then run them through the the Deep Dream Generator.

And a quicker shout out (because I'm trying not to focus on this and lose my brain) while our eldest is still doing okay, there's been a bit of a pain med hiccup on the part of her doctors, so she's going to be without her originally prescribed pills (and will have to make due with less potent stuff) until some time tomorrow. We were told when she left the hospital late Friday afternoon to "not be shy" in taking the pills, as the first few days are typically the worst, and as soon as she was down to her last couple of pills, to call and ask for a refill. Which is what she did this afternoon, after taking one pill diligently every four to five hours (she was even told she could do two if it got super bad). Only to be told by the on-call doctor that her script is on the list of ones that can't be refilled outside of normal business hours (as in TWO SECONDS AFTER AS WE LEFT THE HOSPITAL!!!).

I told her to hand me the phone, which she wisely didn't, as I was starting to channel my inner Shirley MacLaine...

(and yes, that was the quick version)

But for the moment, we've been able to keep her comfortable, so I'm focusing on that.
