Hello PhotoFeed friends! Today I am entering the Cityscape category. One of the things I love most about Cusco is how it perfectly blends ancient Incan foundations with colonial architecture. Every street is a living timeline.
In this post, I am bringing you the Cusco Cathedral. This imposing structure was built directly over the ancient Incan palace of Viracocha, using huge blocks of red granite transported from the Sacsayhuaman fortress. It is a true architectural masterpiece that dominates the main square. I am also sharing some general views of the city and a very special detail: the puma that crowns the lampposts around the Plaza de Armas. In Incan mythology, the puma is a sacred animal representing strength and the earthly realm. Little by little, I will be showing you more corners of this beautiful city. All captured with my Sony A7III.

¡Hola amigos de PhotoFeed! Hoy postulo a la categoría Cityscape. En Cusco, una de las cosas que más me gusta es cómo han combinado a la perfección los cimientos incaicos con la arquitectura colonial. Cada calle es una línea del tiempo viva.
En esta ocasión les traigo la Catedral del Cusco. Esta imponente estructura fue construida directamente sobre el antiguo palacio inca de Viracocha, utilizando enormes bloques de granito rojo transportados desde la fortaleza de Sacsayhuamán. Es una verdadera obra maestra arquitectónica que domina la plaza principal. También les dejo algunas fotografías de la ciudad y un detalle muy especial: el puma que se encuentra en las farolas de la Plaza de Armas. En la mitología inca, el puma es un animal sagrado que representa la fuerza y el mundo terrenal. Poco a poco les estaré mostrando más rincones de esta hermosa ciudad.
