Well hello to all you lovely creative and adventurous Hiveans all around the world!
I hope that you are all being safe, staying well and most importantly staying active and adventurous! (while I sit in a funk and a fog in lockdown no.6 for the past month.....)
Now don't get me wrong, I actually LOVE lockdowns because it gives me a chance to do all those things that I've been trying to do for ages- and participating and engaging in Hive is just one of them...and so one thing that I've been able to enjoy- apart from being here on Hive and reading everyone's awesome posts, is to scan old photos (until my scanner just died a couple of days ago damn it!) and learn new skills in photoshop.
So although I've used photoshop quite a bit over the last few years, I'm not what you'd call a professional- more like an experimenter- you know, press buttons, slide the thing up and down to see what happens...so all very creative and oh so wonderfully CRAZY and colourful, but I don't really know how to do too many actual things...until now.
I've learn't (finally) how to select individual colours within an image to change that singular colour! π
How exciting- for me- probably totally last decade's news for you....however, I'm LOVING IT!
So anyway, having a huge stash of images tucked away for this rainy day, I pulled a few out that I took last xmas at various spots around the gorgeous tiny town of Tathra Beach in NSW with the **full intention of going B&W **(which I did end up doing here....@chociscorpipro/this-is-my-entry-for-the-monomad-challenge-and-showing-off-tathra-in-nsw-too
But then I couldn't help myself and practiced my colour changing technique (cause I am such a massive colour junkie....π€£..) And ended up with these quite simplistic, but awesome looking images!
Well I love them anyway...and I hope that you do too! π
I still have a long way to go, but am enjoying conquering something in photoshop...even if it is something as simple as that...
Anyway, I would love to hear which one is your favourite!
I think mine is the green/blue beach...but I also love the bright orange daisies and red bush too!
I can't wait to have another go with some more!

Well, thank you all for reading and putting up with my rambling tonight and if you did make it this far, you are absolute champions!
