As you see, the letters tells that this is Medellín, one of the larger cities in Colombia. Situated in the coffee growing district, it makes a great base for exploring the coffee plantations and charming, colorful villages. As you can see on the photo, I am on a higher level when taking the photo. I am in the district called Comuna 13. I did a guided walking tour to learn more about the history of this neighborhood, that once was among the most dangerous areas in Medellín. Comuna 13 has changed a lot since then. Renovation projects has made it a safe area. The houses seems to hang on to the mountain side and the best way to get up there is by the metrocable. You will find electrical escalators outdoor. The are there to give access to homes that hard to reach otherwise. This photo is my entry to contest @photofeed/photofeed-contest-cityscape-photography-round-161
