
Visiting the west coast of Denmark made me experience landscape like this. The place the photo was taken is Rubjerg Knude. There is a lighthouse here, but because of coastal erosion, it has been mooved further inland. It looks like a desert, but once there were forests and farms here. When the farmers cut the trees, it caused the sand to take over. The facines you see on the photo are the top of fir trees, planted to try to prevent the sand to drift. Coastal erosion is another problem the coast experiences. This photo is my entry to contest @photofeed/photofeed-contest-landscape-photography-round-147
