PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography #53 : Glaciers of Patagonia

When I was in Patagonia I did several hikes in this beautiful mountain landscape of Chile and Argentina. One of them took me on an hours walk on the Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina. This glacier is part of a huge icefield in southern Patagonia and shared by both countries. In 1981 it was addes to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites. Besides Antartica and the icefield on Greenland, this icefield in Patagonia is the third largest in the wold.
