Hi Hivers in PhotoFeed community, today I would like to introduce you to a famous river that flows through my place, the majestic and poetic Dak Bla River. First let me talk about it a bit. Dak Bla River is 139km long. It originates from Ngoc Linh mountain, Tu Mo Rong district, Kon Tum province. It flows through the territory of Kon Tum province and flows into the Se San River of Gia Lai province. The special thing about this river is that it flows from East to West, while most other rivers in Vietnam flow from West to East due to the topography of Vietnam with mountains in the west and sea in the east.
The Dak Bla River originates from Ngoc Linh Mountain, and throughout its course many small streams flow from the surrounding mountains and forests, which makes it larger and more majestic. Below is a photo of a waterfall at Ngoc Le mountain, in Kon Plong district, flowing into the Dak Bla river.
Below is a view of the Dak Bla River as it flows through the Kon Tu Rang rice terraced field. The river embraces the rice fields, creating a poetic beauty.
Below is the Dak Tang hydroelectric lake, a large lake created from the flow of the Dak Bla River, nestled between the surrounding mountains and forests, located in Kon Ray district.
Since the Dak Bla River flows through a large area, it also divides the terrain into different parts. And to connect those divided areas together, people built bridges across it. Below are some famous bridges spanning the Dak Bla River. The special thing is that all these bridges are suspension bridges.
As I mentioned above, the Dak Bla River flows through the rugged terrain so its flow is quite fast. Below are some photos of a section of it as it flows through the village of Kon Tu Rang. This is the season when the water level of the Dak Bla River is not too high, you can see there are many rocks in the bed of the Dak Bla River.
During the rainy season, the water level of the Dak Bla River rises, and the strong current causes the trees on both sides of the river to drift to one side.
There are sections of the Dak Bla River, where the water flows so strongly that its flow creates white sprays of water.
Today I came and stayed with this mighty Dak Bla River until dark. Hidden inside the strength of the Dak Bla river is a peace of the surrounding nature.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I hope you also enjoy this majestic river. Wish you a good day.
