Hi dear Hivers in PhotoFeed community, today I would like to show you the beauty of persimmon season in Moc Chau, a mountainous town of Son La province, Vietnam. In the previous post, I showed you the persimmon season in Mang Den already, it started about one month and a half ago. And now is the end of persimmon fruit season in Mang Den. Mang Den is a mountainous town in Highland of Vietnam, and Moc Chau is also a mountainous town, but in the north of Vietnam. As a result, the weather in Moc Chau is colder. Normally it's 4 to 5 Celsius degree lower here. Therefore the persimmon fruit season comes later in Moc Chau.
In the gloomy color of the winter in Moc Chau, the orange of persimmon stand out and bring warm colors to the area. Orange persimmon fruits not only adds to the beauty of Moc Chau but also brings the income to the local people. A kg of persimmon fruits is about 30,000-50,000 VND (About 1,2-2$), then the local people can make some money during this season. Besides, gardens of persimmon attract many tourists to the place these days. Persimmon fruits are kind of seasonal fruits, so we don't always have the opportunity to admire them. That's why many tourists come to take photos with these beautiful orange persimmon fruits.
Today I had a chance to visit a persimmon garden in Moc Chau. As the owner of the garden, there are about over 100 persimmon trees in his garden. And they are the main income during this time for his family. I came to the garden at about 9am, however because of the wet weather during these days, the persimmon fruits are more attractive with water drops of them.
I tried one persimmon fruit in the garden. And it tasted so good. The skin and the flesh of the persimmon fruits are all orange. And it has distinctive aroma and flavor.
I found something interesting things in the garden such as the tree in the photos below and the guard of the garden, goose. In Vietnam, we use these fruits to make liquid container. And when I stepped into the persimmon garden, the goose below became angry and made some noise as if threatening me and not wanting me to go into the garden.
If you have a chance to come to visit Vietnam during this time, don't miss the opportunity to admire the beauty of persimmon in Moc Chau. Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. Wish you a nice day.
