I never thought that I would find this kind of ladybug very easily right in my front yard. I was checking on my chili plant in the yard since it was quite old, and it started to lose most of its leaves. And I also noticed that some pests have started to accumulate in some of the new flowers. I take my attention because they can easily kill the plant.
While checking on those small flowers, and also killing the pest using my fingers, I noticed this black ladybug moving up and down the branch of the chili plant. I was a little bit surprised because I hardly find this kind of ladybug before, and without thinking too much I rushed back inside my house, took my camera, and then tried to take as many photos of this ladybug as I could.
What I like about the photos is that there is a small water droplet that could be seen on its back, it made the shots even more beautiful to me. Adds a bit of a nice touch to the ladybug. While most of the body color is black you can also see the nose part and also the cheek side of this ladybug is yellow.
I tried to twist and bend the branch where the ladybug stayed to be able to get a better angle. I managed to get a few shots before I think I bugged it too much and then it decided to fly away into the frangipani tree and out of my reach. Maybe I should be a little bit more gentle next time so I can get more photos in the future if I ever see it again.
