Yesterday I visited the Chiemsee a bigger lake in Germany together with Stefan and Barbara and I already showed you some pictures of the cute "Robin" that I could photography there, but since I also wanted to test my new Nikon Z6II for some landscape photography I also did several shots of the lake and the nature surrounding the lake there. It was quite a good weather but very cold. ❄️
The lake has quite a bit to offer and we are probably visiting it in spring once again since it is only a 2 hour drive from our home and on one spot there should also be a lot of bird activity. We want to observe this next spring and maybe summer. We'll see at what time we have time to come visit it again. For this weekend I took several landscape pictures that I want to show you here. I already showed you some of the bird pictures yesterday.

Its great having 2 different cameras on hand so I don't need to change the lenses everytime I take some pictures. I used my Nikon Z6II for landscape photos and the D500 with the Crop for some pictures of birds that I found there. For example this bird pictures: "Post with robin from yesterday".
But since we didn't have that much time I forgot to do a little more experiments and I also want to use my Lee Filters on the Camera one time for some longtime exposure photography. The first picture with the Lakehouse would have been great for a longtime exposure shot with filters but since we also wanted to do some wildlifephotography and wanted to get to know the best spots of the lake we only had limited time and I have to postpone these longtime exposure shots for some future visits. Since we nearly hit the shortest day of the year the sun already started to set very early and we only had very limited time.
