Rice Grasshopper
Submitted Photo:
1. Photo Description ππ
The rice grasshopper is one of several types of grasshopper. It is generally gray with a touch of brown. Physically, the rice grasshopper is not much different from other types of grasshopper, except for its conical head.
Using macro photography, I saw the beauty of this small animal, often overlooked and even considered a pest by farmers. This includes the beauty of its antennae, body shape, color, and front legs, especially the hind legs, which appear to have several spines that serve to attach to objects on which it lands.
