Kamberg Valley an ultimately peaceful, calm region, tranquility reigns superb when no thunderstorms crash through, part of the Umkhahlamba Drakensberg Park. Approximately 3 hour drive from Durban depending on road conditions.
Hike up to historical San rock-art on guided tour, trout fishing, organized mountain biking, hiking challenges, for me quiet walk along the Mooi river bird watching is more appealing now.
Strongly suggest guided hiking in the area, solo travel not a wise idea, short or longer hikes on offer at the Kamberg Camp Office, Roman Baths a hidden gem when walking a short distance to enjoy a picnic and swim in nature, explore only leaving footprints behind.
