Romont is a small town in the Swiss Alps. I go there from time to time with glass deliveries. I like this village because of the beautiful views you can see there.
On that day I had just finished unloading and was about to leave. I drove off a little bit and I looked left outside and something made me stop.
The view was calm and beautiful โ soft green fields, snowy mountain peaks in the background and a clear sky above it all. It felt peaceful. I stayed parked for a minute longer, just looking and wondering this pretty view.
Then I saw a train coming. It moved slowly across the frame, right through the open space between the hills. The timing couldnโt have been better.
I reached for my camera and took this photo from my truck cabin.
This moment reminded me that even during a normal workday, you can still find something special. You donโt always need to go far to feel connected to a place.
This picture is one of my favorite in my portfolio.
