Greetings, Fellow Visual Minimalists And Other Appreciators Of Good Taste!
Every once in a while, I have the opportunity to take this kind of shots of a vast landscape that provides almost no stimulus to our vision and yet, it is there, it has a hue, or a transparency level that is not quite absolutely void...And something to focus on, something to think about. In an environment of milky blue-white fog.
Like this particular foggy view from my window some time in late December of 2022.

Also, it's not a glitch, there is a rectangular skyline about 80 percent up from the bottom line. The blocks of flats that line the background and are barely, barely visible. And quite not suiting the oval shapes of the church's roof, dome and bell tower architecture.
Would I have left it in the frame were it a bit more visible? I guess to an extent, yes. But it would have been a different canvas so I am happy it remains almost entirely hidden in this one case.
Do you have favorite minimalistic pictures of your own? I am not sure if minimalism is as popular as it deserves. Most people would have hear that less is more but most of them would probably rarely agree.
It's in people's nature to want more and still more, rather than less. So, it's up to art to push the opposite.
Well, it's only fitting for Minimalism to be in minimum quantities.
Peace!
