The photographs I am sharing with you today are from a trip to the village of Mugla in Bulgaria. It's in the mountains and the road to the village is in pretty bad shape, so it's difficult to get there. Especially in the winter. Legends say that the village was founded five centuries ago by four shepherds who stole maidens from the city of Smolyan and hid in the forests.
This is my third time going, and the people have stolen my heart since day one. It's an organized trip with a bunch (from 20 to 50) of photographers showing up from all over the country. I guess my heart isn't the only one they stole. This year I was there for 6 days and came back with a ton of photographs. I will start with some basic ones from the village itself and its beauty. Do expect more in the near future because I'm finally done editing everything from my stay!
