The Royal Monastery of Los Jer贸nimos is a transitional Gothic building, which began to be built in 1505. Although the cloister that features in today's entry dates from 1593 and certain Renaissance details can be seen, with its courtyard full of orange trees. The cloister was the place where almost all the active life of the monks took place.
