¡Hola, Hiveneses! || Hi, Hiveans!
Todos somos hijos, los niños de alguien. Y hasta cuando las canas y el cuerpo nos dicen que ha pasado ya mucho tiempo y que es natural dejar el mundo de los vivos en algún momento, es imposible dejar de buscar alguna señal de ese sitio secreto y místico adonde se van las almas cuando ya no vemos sus formas humanas.
We are all children, someone's children. And even when our hair turns gray, and our bodies tell us that it’s been too long already and that it's natural for everybody to leave the world of the living at some point, it's impossible for us to stop looking for some sign of that secret and mystic place where souls go when we no longer see their human shapes.

Yo te busco en el halo de la luna
y en la refulgencia de un anhelo.
Yo te busco en estas letras de luz,
apartando el espacio negro.
Adonde yo te busco solo hay estrellas.
Only Stars
Where I look for you, there are only stars
and the immensity that turns
towards my eyes and fills them
with clear images of the past,
memories like birds at flight
showing me their light white feathers;
my waiting, suspended in the luminous
air beneath their wings stays warm,
sheltered in their infinity.
The stillness of this sky with its candles
like many souls exiled
to that eternal place that is heaven
is your glory and my consolation,
for I’ve just been left behind,
but as I continue to exist, I get closer.
I look for you in the halo of the moon
and in the refulgence of my longing.
I look for you in the light of these letters,
as I push aside the blackness around them.
Where I look for you, there are only stars.
