Please reflect with me,
I gained some insight on the healthy balance of public and private knowledge in the segment about "Privacy is Optional" at about 9:17. Its important to have a public ledger for things like voting, yet at the same time include privacy preserving features that the user can implement to their own satisfaction.
The use case was "show you voted" to be acknowledged as a participant in the democracy, but perhaps withholding the information about "who you voted for" to prevent drama or another real world situation that politics could incure to oneself.
The health exchange of information can have a drastic effect on ones quality of living, and I believe in Privacy as a Right.
