Pada postingan kali ini aku akan mengabarkan peristiwa penting yang terjadi di keluarga kami. Momen lamaran dan pertunangan adik bungsuku, Risqan. Momen bahagia tersebut terjadi pada akhir bulan Januari, tepatnya tanggal 29 di bulan itu. Proses sakral ini merupakan tahapan awal penyatuan dua keluarga besar dari kedua mempelai.
In this post I will tell you about an important event that happened in our family. The moment of my youngest brother's proposal and engagement, Risqan. This happy moment occurred at the end of January, precisely on the 29th of that month. This sacred process is the initial stage of unification of the two large families of the bride and groom.
Pernikahan ini akan menyatukan dua budaya dan adat istiadat yang sedikit berbeda. Mempelai pria berasal dari Aceh dan mempelai wanitanya berasal dari Medan. Meskipun demikian, kedua latar belakang ini memiliki persamaan pada akar rumpun Melayu. Kalau di budaya barat lamaran untuk menikah terjadi hanya antar dua individu yang bersangkutan, di budaya Indonesia, proses ini melibatkan keluarga besar.
This wedding will unite two slightly different cultures and customs. The groom is from Aceh and the bride is from Medan. Nevertheless, these two backgrounds have similarities in the roots of the Malay family. Whereas in western culture the application for marriage occurs only between the two individuals concerned, in Indonesian culture, this process involves a large family.
Seperti yang terlihat pada gambar, hanya mempelai wanita yang hadir. Keluarga besar sang mempelai wanita menjadi tuan rumah. Keluarga besar mempelai pria berkunjung untuk melamar. Dalam momen ini, dari kami keluarga mempelai pria, adik-adiknya Almarhum Ibu berperan sebagai perwakilan keluarga. Tentunya semua sudah kesepakatan keluarga besar baik dari pihak Almarhum ayahku dan juga ibuku. Adikku yang nomor dua, Imam juga hadir beserta anak dan istri. Aku sendiri tidak bisa hadir di momen itu.
As seen in the picture, only the bride was present. The bride's extended family is the host. The groom's extended family visits to propose. In this moment, from us the groom's family, the late mother's younger siblings act as representatives of the family. Of course, everything has been agreed by the big family from both my late father and mother's side. My second brother, Imam was also present along with his wife and children. I myself could not be present at that moment.
Meskipun tidak bisa menghadiri momen lamaran tersebut. Dari lubuk hatiku yang paling dalam, kupanjatkan doa terbaik agar proses ini berlangsung dengan baik sampai ke hari saat pesta pernikahan digelar. Semoga semuanya dilancarkan oleh yang maha kuasa. Semoga kami semua, keluarga besar kedua mempelai diberikan kesehatan dan umur panjang agar dapat menghadiri momen bahagia itu nantinya. Momen Raja sehari adik bungsuku bersama calon Ratunya. semoga mereka berdua terus diberkati dengan hati yang terpaut satu sama lain. Saling asah, saling asih, dan saling asuh. Tetap bersama dalam suka dan duka sampai maut memisahkan.
Even though I couldn't attend the moment of engagement. From the bottom of my heart, I pray for the best so that this process goes well until the day the wedding is held. May all be blessed by the almighty God. May we all, the extended family of the bride and groom, be given health and long life so that we can attend that happy moment later. The moment of the king a day my youngest brother with his future queen. I wish they both continue to be blessed with hearts attached to one another. Embrace each other, love each other, and care for each other. Stay together in joy and sorrow until death do them a part.
