I must not call it a travel post actually, because I am not planning to visit and enjoy the place just like most travelers do because this place is one of the places that I pass by whenever I commute to my workplace.
This place is called Candidasa, is one of the main tourist attractions in the Karangasem regency in the eastern part of Bali. Some part of this beach has white sand while the other part is rocky, it is mostly because of the abrasion the beach experience during the early years of its development.
The beach was a substitute for the crowded hustle of the Kuta beach in the southern part of the island, which offers tranquility away from the buzz and loud music of cafes and nightclubs.
The love ornament was newly built to attract more visitors to the beach, especially the domestic tourist who was eager to pose around it and add a post of their social media account.
it is built on the wave breaker which was installed to reduce the abrasion the beach experienced.
Some of the local tourist chatting and enjoying the time of the gazebo, or we called it Bale Bengong
it is the white sand beach where people can enjoy, while the other one below is the rocky part of the beach, where some boats were anchored.
While behind the beach, there were many hotels, bungalows, cafes, and restaurants lining up ready to serve the tourist visiting the place.
From this point, we also can enjoy the view of the hill behind it. if you love hiking and camping there is a camping site up there which I wish one day I can visit.
There is no admission fee for visiting the beach. But if you ride your own car or bike, just remember you might need to pay for the parking area for the parking attendant. :)
It was a bit cloudy when i stopped and decided to visit the place, also I only bring my 50mm lens with me and I also forget to pack up my photography skill so that most of the photos I got is just not really good.
I can't even edit the photos to make it like I was having a great sunset there. lol, but I do hope you like it, and if you have a chance when this pandemic and travel restriction is lifted you will visit this place and help it back to life.
here are more photos of the place.
