I know when you heard of the word morning glory you might think of sauteed morning glory an Asian-type vegetable meal made from water spinach. My Western guest usually likes this food very much.
But this one is not about food, but a flowering plant, which is a twinning vine weed and usually needs another plant for support so that it can grow high. If not because I took the photo I would never know that there is a plant which is called Morning Glory
Ipomoea triloba or morning glory has a pentagon-shaped purple flower. The flower is a bit small actually, but the shape is really nice. If you look closely, it also has a bit of a star pattern on the flower, if you could see it then I am right, if not then it is just my imagination. hahah
I also found wandering ants on the flower. it seems like they are looking for its nectar.
