Hello #Hive friends wherever you are and also friends in the #HiveIndonesianCommunity, I hope all of you are always in good condition and can carry out routines as usual.
This time I came back here to share with all my friends.
Last week, I and a number of other people took part in a cooking competition at a tourist spot in Aceh Besar.
A cooking competition for a typical Aceh Besar dish, namely "Sie Reuboh" whose main ingredient is meat and the meat is cut larger than the size of the meat for other dishes. While we are here to cut the regular size or smaller because it is not to be enjoyed in a long time, after cooking and judging we will eat together the dishes that we have cooked.
Sie Reuboh is usually cooked in a pot made of earth, this dish can last for days without changing the taste, but every few days it needs to be warmed so it doesn't change the taste. The committee provides various needs ranging from ingredients to cooking utensils, of course this is very easy for us because we no longer need to bother carrying these items.
The location of the competition is in the Jantho area, precisely in Jantho Panorama Park, which is a natural tourist spot that has just been opened and is crowded with tourists during holidays.
I do not see this activity as a competition to gain recognition under the name "The Winner" but the main thing is the efforts of the Aceh Besar District Government in preserving one of the legacies of its predecessors in the form of a dish known as the typical cuisine of "Aceh Rayeuk" or Aceh Besar.
Indeed, now many residents from various regions are cooking this Sie Reuboh and it has even become a favorite menu in many restaurants in Aceh Besar, Banda Aceh and even outside the region.
Of course we feel happy if our regional specialties are liked by many people who are widely spread both in Aceh Province and other provinces scattered throughout Indonesia.
Some Aceh Rayeuk specialties that are in great demand include Beulangong, Sie Reuboh and Asam Keueng dishes, actually the most familiar outside the Aceh Besar area is "Kuah Beulangong" and hopefully in the future there will be competitions like this again and what is being contested is cooking " Kuah Beulangong" and other typical dishes so that a variety of special dishes from the sustainability are maintained.
By holding a cooking competition for regional specialties that have been passed down for generations, this can be part of the promotion so that this special dish is increasingly widely known.
The friendly atmosphere with the various participating teams gathered at the location of the competition was felt, we participated in the competition cheerfully. Moreover, cooking in the open and unspoiled natural scenery has brought a calm and relaxed atmosphere for those of us who were there.
Alright friends, that's my story this time that I can share here and thank you for viewing and reading this post. Hope friends like it. Warm greetings from me.
