We have come to live in an age where technology and science have been taking over rapidly. The internet is just a part of the changes and it's so amazing to see how fast the world embraced it. It has brought about a lot of good and bad. But that's dependent on the individual using it.
The internet has brought some people to tears through scams and internet frauds, the same way it has brought some people good fortunes through digital tools and applications.
With these it might bring about some commotion and misunderstandings about the internet, the bad side and the good side, should everyone have access to the internet? Or do they restrict them based on their usage?

I remember a time when I was in a higher institution, and then we had to pay for using the WiFi to browse. At some point, I guess the school management detected some unusual hacks on their system. Then they had to restrict the usage of it.
Those times we were only asked to use apps like YouTube and other instant messaging apps. Once you want to connect you will have to input your registration number and password so they can monitor whatever you do with it.
At some point the students never felt free of it, it's like restricting them from browsing and using the internet. Then the conclusion from the school management was to disable all access to public Wi-Fi on the school premises.
Should the students see that as a violation of their rights?
I believe that the internet should be free to all and no restrictions should be placed on that. If there should be human rights violations for those who tried to place a restriction on the internet then it's the best thing to do.
With the digital age, we find ourselves in presently, I can say that almost everyone around the globe has been inclined to use the internet. Should there be some restrictions on the internet then it would be like taking the lives of so many.

One important aspect of it is that this internet is where some people earn a living from, they work remotely and then get paid for their jobs done at home. That's way easier and more convenient for workers. If the internet gets restricted from these sets of people, imagine how much they get to lose.
The effect of Internet restrictions on the long run.
I guess as humans we might get to adjust our ways to the internet restrictions since those before us lived without the internet and they actually lived fine. It will take a lot before we can adjust our ways. But definitely, we would get accustomed to it.
We actually survived times when network providers would mess up and give us a poor time connecting to the internet. It's bound to happen. But so far the internet continues to exist, and there should be no restrictions to it.
