Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂
When we were children, we used to find joy in even the simplest things. Back then, we didn't have all the modern gadgets we have today, but we still managed to make simple things interesting and had a lot of fun with them. Today, we have so many things we used to wish for, things we thought would make us happy, but many of you have probably noticed that you don't get the same kind of enjoyment anymore. Take studying, for example. In the past, there were only a limited number of resources available for us to study from, yet many people managed to gather a lot of information from various books. Today, you have everything available on your mobile phones, but you don't see the same enthusiasm for learning anymore. In the past, if we had a doubt, we had to work very hard to find the answer, and it was often quite difficult. But today, we have modern technology, and sometimes I wonder what would have happened if we had all these things back then. Let's talk about video games. Compared to the past, there were limited video games available, and the gaming technology wasn't as advanced as it is today. Yet, we used to play even the simplest games with great enthusiasm. But now, we play a game for a few days and then get bored and lose interest.

I know that many people are experiencing or have experienced the things I'm talking about, and you're probably wondering why this happens. Would you believe me if I told you that the main reason behind all of this is dopamine? You all probably know about dopamine, but for those who don't, let me explain: dopamine is a chemical that our brain releases when we experience pleasure. It's a type of chemical that your brain uses to reward your body. Nowadays, things have become so advanced that they are making people lazy. In the past, everything took a lot of time, and only then did we feel like we had achieved something. But now, everything is so easy that there's no need to put in much effort. You've probably noticed that earlier, to get information about anything, we had to read books or watch long videos to get even a little bit of information. Now it's the age of short videos, and you get some kind of information in every 30-second clip. Getting this information is good, but your brain can't process things so quickly. If you start getting so much information in such a short time, your brain will become overstimulated. If you repeatedly consume content that gives you pleasure in short bursts, overstimulation is bound to happen. Now, because of this overstimulation, your brain will get used to getting pleasure in short periods. As a result, if you do something that takes a long time or is a little boring, you won't feel like doing it at all, and you'll either abandon the task or do it very poorly. This is what has disrupted the balance of your brain. Anything that yields better results requires time. If you want to build a good physique, you need patience. If you want to become a good professional, you will have to dedicate a lot of time and patience to achieve it. If your brain has become accustomed to high dopamine activity, it will repeatedly crave dopamine, and you will keep repeating those activities that give your brain pleasure, such as scrolling through social media or anything else that provides instant gratification.
If you want to overcome this, you will need patience. The first thing you need to do is to stay away from social media as much as possible. I'm not saying you should delete your accounts completely, but if you use it constantly, this problem will persist. Set a specific time during the day when you will use social media, and stick to that time.
The most important thing is to completely stop installing and using Reels. This is what causes overstimulation in our brains. So, while you can use social media for a short time, completely avoid Reels.
The second thing is that you will have to do various exercises and meditation to increase your concentration power and enable you to focus on things more effectively. Learn to be patient and engage in activities that require a lot of patience. You can read a book or do something where the results take some time to become apparent. Completely avoid things that give instant results.
The third and most important thing is to keep yourself completely busy doing things that are right for you and that don't cause you any harm. You should have a schedule for your entire day, accounting for every minute, knowing exactly what you need to do at each specific time. Step away from the digital world for a while, explore the real world, and connect with nature. Then see how much of a difference it makes. And if you can experience this change, I can say with certainty that you will never want to look at a screen again & live a healthy life.
