First Earning
Tell us about the very first time you made money for yourself. I do not mean your first job, I mean the first time you did something and got paid for it. If in your case, it's a job, then all the same. Tell us all about it and how much you made.
It's a great thing to earn at an early age. This topic is a great one and indeed everyone has one thing or the other to say about his or her first earning. There are so many things one has done to make his or her first earning.
Before I start telling you my part, I would like to define first earning :
First earning is that money you earned at the first stage of your life without embarking on any huge amount of business.
In my tender age, I have earned money and made savings. Right from the beginning, I was called a businesswoman and someone who knows how to keep money. This was because of the means I used to make my first earning. To me it was just a joke, but to those who saw the way I used to earn the money, it was not a joke. Just because of a childish experience, I was the happiest girl on earth after making the money. My mother was so surprised to see me making this money at my tender age.
When I saw my mum cooking, I just discovered something that I can use to make a little money, but was still doubting my thought. I went to my aunt's house and saw her using a coal pot to cook her food. I equally saw some other women using coal pots to cook. This got me triggered and was eager to do the little business to make a little savings. I was so excited to have come up with this idea of mine after seeing the different ways to sell and to get the item.
Do you want to know what I sold to make my first warning so far? I was in Junior secondary school one(1) when I got this idea. It was charcoal. I gathered charcoal and sold to my Aunt for just #50. The woman in the next building also needed it and I sold it to her. This was how I started earning little money and gathered in a saving pot. At the end of the year, I was so rich as a child. Although, I never allowed this to get into me just because of my studies.
To be sincere, most people start just like this until they reach their goals. To me, it was noyy.area of concentration and so, I decided to leave it and face my actual business after getting married.
