Hello everyone and good evening. How is life treating you? I hope you're all having a good time. I believe many of you are somewhat worried about the market. Especially those who are quite active in Hive communities. Most certainly hold some amount of Hive steak or liquid form. I do as well. So I believe that you all are worried about Hive's future just like me. Considering as of the time of writing, Hive is priced even below $0.09 whereas it was priced around $0.67 somewhere towards the beginning of the year. Now I don't have any inside information of any sort. I am simply stating the fact that the low prices are giving owners a hard time surely. Even though it is not necessary then you would be withdrawing and trading in a hive on a regular basis. Whatever you hold, if it decreases in value, it is some sort of headache.
Anyway, about altseason. Throughout the year there have been many indicators which have indicated that altseason is coming. At different times. But somehow it has never arrived. Every time. There has been some sort of macroeconomic or geopolitical incident that has abruptly stopped, the growth and the organic natural cycle of crypto. It is suffice to say that crypto is not alone anymore. Or that it is not untouched by outside factors anymore. Rather it is now more influenced by new metrics than ever. So we really don't know what is next. All previous indicators are failing this time around. All previous trends which people use to predict different cycles at different parts of the year are also not working the same way it had all these years. And now that institutional investors are weighing in so heavily, market manipulation is all the rage right now.
Now, it might sound cynical but I don't think altseason is coming anytime soon. It may or may not come at all. Because only tokens which are beneficial to the institutional investors who are a very significant part of the total ownership pool, will be given special treatment by both the governments and the investors so they might have the upper hand over the others.
