I love physical education because it deals with physical activities. Sports and exercise are what I enjoy best about physical education, particularly inter-house competitions..
Physical education is fun because sustaining a healthy living and strengthening physical growth
Since I was a little child, I have always participated in sports because they are enjoyable. Aside from football, I especially adore sprinting because I love everything that is connected to sports.
When I was in high school, I was a sprinter in my house. I joined yellow house because I love the color and the name of my house back then was Harding House, funny name right but still we never carry last in every inter-house sport.
I have extra strength when it comes to sports, and that is why I always participated in 100m races and 400m by 400m relay races,
I joined this activity immediately. I entered SS1 till my SS3. The most memorable time I had in PE happened when I was in SS 2, where I ran the last race for my house and came 2nd in the inter-house sports competition.
I have been participating but I have never collected a medal but this particular one that happened in my SS2 was different because I was the first person that was given the medal since I ran last and I made my house win.
When I got home with the medal on my neck my dad was so happy because I have been running for the house for a long time, but I never came home with any gift this time the medal proves that I have improved a lot. The medal was still in my daddy's house in our hometown to this day. He never threw it away because he also loved it.
The truth about PE is that it is not everyone that can cope with it and it is not everyone that has the strength while some let their ego pull them out of the lane without them gaining anything from PE after all their efforts in training.
There are times I will get blamed when we don't get any good position but I never let that discourage me because PE is what I love so instead of getting discouraged I make use of those times that I failed to strengthen myself up and am glad that in the end, I was able to get to the top.
Because after that day, I collected medals, I never wanted to get back down until I finished up my secondary school.
And my house was so proud of me because I made them winners and not losers like we used to be before.
The lesson learned about PE was that it taught me that I can do anything if I'm committed to it, as long as I don't give up. I wasn't the best sprinter in my school then, but I trained daily to be among the best, and in the end, I was recognized. Even my family was so proud of me for getting to the top at last after all the hard training.
