This is a real-life story that I would like to share with everyone. Strange things happened in this world. Although no one owes you anything, cruelty occurred when someone died of starvation and food was distributed at their funeral.
I visited a community last year. Our company won a contract for the repair of their roads. A total of three different routes were awarded.
There was a man who worked hard day and night in the stream area. He used to pack water sands in the stream with a shovel. Then arrange it in a sack, which will be transferred inside the truck for sale.
He also worked at night as a security guard in the community.
Despite the fact that this man works daily, he still has trouble making a good living.
Sometimes he would be at the restaurant to wrap up leftover food by the customers.
This man has no children or wife, but still, it is difficult for him to live in order.
I discussed with him
Fortunately, I was able to befriend this man. I asked him what might be the problem with his food insecurity.
When I asked him this question, he broke down in tears and now explained that he has health problems.
He always spent a lot of money on this ailment every month.
This was the cause of his financial problems.
I told him that he should consult the elders as he is well known in the community and they could collect a substantial amount of money for him or connect him with a government hospital that can cure his illness.
He told me that he had tried several remedies, but the rich men in the community did not support him, and even when he begged them for food, they always refused to help him.
Sometimes only average people helped him, he said.
My encounters with rich people
I have worked a lot with rich people and they barely give any help. You work and get paid for your services.
Although some have helped before, most did not.
I'm sure some rich men in the community can help this man, but they don't care.
Death And Burial Arrangement Of The Man
The man's health is beginning to deteriorate. He couldn't work like before. He stayed at home. I visited him before his death and gave him some food and fruit.
Because of this ailment, his case worsened. He could not afford a regular meal a day.
So it all joined together and he eventually died
It was such a shock when I heard the news of his death.
I went on a short vacation so I couldn't see him alive when I returned.
The most shocking story
I was so surprised that they had a party for this man after his death. I was told that the party was sponsored by some rich men.
But when this man was alive, they could not show love.
The party was full of food and drinks.
Everyone has said good things about it, there are no bad reviews for it.
I realized that we live in a wrong world. Assuming those who sponsored the party helped him.
He would be saved. But they preferred to show off
At the final funeral.
It's a terrible culture to spend a lot of money on someone's death. This happens very well in African countries.
Some family members of the deceased even borrow money just to throw a big party for the dead.
This is a bad idea that I didn't like, celebration money can be given to the deceased while the individual is still alive. Instead of having a big celebration for the dead, you can give the money to the family of the deceased.
I hope someday people will know more about it.
