However we want to do it, we can't all receive equal pay. Do you know why I said so? We are not the same. We all have our different talents that determines what we do or produce for people. Aside that, some have so spent a lot to go study and someone just sit down and tell you that schooling is not his thing. Of course at the end that person who suffered and went to school may end up becoming a lecturer while the person who refused to go to school may also end up becoming a gate man in the same school. So, I believe that somehow we also contribute to what we will do earning at the end of the week or at the end of the month. What you sow is what you will reap.
In the society we have what is called "social stratification" what does that mean? It means a system where people are classified according to their social status. But remember that you will in one way or the other choose your status. We have the learned and the unlearned. We have the rich and the poor. We also have the political elite and those who are not there.
Even when we come to the educated ones. They are also of different classes. We have the doctors and the teachers. We have the nurses and the engineers. The list is on ending. You can't expect all of these people to receive the same pay or equal pay at the end of the month. What about the political world? We have the president, the governors, local government chairmen, senators house of representatives and so forth. They can't also be paid the same because of the volume of work that some do, others don't do it. Some just come to the office once a week and some are on the office every day and even have to go home late. I don't expect that they should all receive the same pay.
What I believe is that, if you want more pay, then go for it by getting more skills, going higher in your Educational status, and also working more than others. That is how the ball rolls. You can't relax at home and watch your television and expect to receive the same pay with someone who has been busy all day working in the office.
IF I HAVE THE POWER
While, having the power is one thing and doing the right thing is another. Having the power I believe will give me the opportunity to raise everyone who is interested in higher positions so as to receive good pay, but can't also be the same. But it might surprise you to know that someone will still say that he is not interested and will wish to remain in the small position he is at the moment. Some people don't just like what will trouble them. They can just remain in their small place for the rest of their lives.
I'm summary, equal pay for everyone is not possible because we all do different things to earn our pay and that determines so much how we will be paid at the end of the day or month as the case maybe.
