Hello house. It is another great day for us. We have a great topic too and we need to do justice to it.
When we talk about job, it is rare for one to say that he has never worked before or never had any job to do before.

Having a job means that we have source of livelihood. We can't afford to live without having any thing doing that can face us money. In fact, for some people, they even have more than one job doing yo get money.
Well, for me all my life I have never experienced what it means to work under some one, take orders, trying to obey the boss even at your own detriment. Sometimes I wonder what it feels like working under someone or some group of people.
I have always been self employed. People believe that when you have a business doing it will help you always have money to solve problems instead of always waiting for the end of the month to receive your salary. But I debunk that assertion. I have always been in the business and I know what it means for you to have your capital together with your income and you are ready to finish it just because you feel that it is your own money, and no one will ask you anything about it. I also want to work to be paid at the end of the month. Because I spen as i want. I buy what I want to buy. For me I believe that it will help me reduce the way and manner that I spend. If I know that money will come at the end of the month, I believe that I will be compiled to wait till the end of the month.
The first thing I ever did as my own to raise money for me was roasting maize as a young girl. I needed money badly then to buy my travelling bag. I was actually planning to travel but I don't have any bag to pack my clothes. So, I decided to follow my friend to buy maize, get something that will help me roast it, and I started doing business. I was able to save two hundred naira back then to buy Ghana most go. Hahaha 😄 that was the bag I was able to afford. So, I used the bag to travel home and I was okay.
So all through, it has been from one business to another. I remember when I went into buying and selling of clothes. That what we call fairly used. I also worked as a tailor. Yes, I also did that for a very long time. I had to stop because when I started raising kids I was not finding it funny any more. The stress became too much for me that I had to quit.
Lessons from being self employed.
It is through that I envy those that work under someone and expect to be paid at the end of every month. Still I still recognize that being self employed gives you all the opportunity you need to do other things. You can even do two to three businesses at a time. You come out for your business when you want and close when you want. You own no one apologies for that.
Will you go back there if you have the chance?
For me, I really want to try the other side of working under someone and receiving your salary at the end of the month.
