Adoption of children in the world have come to be a sacred and most rare thing you see people do because of the whole processes of adopting one by the prospective parents. It goes as far as not allowing a single woman or man adopting a child as long as it is from a legal orphanage home.
Are all these strict policies necessary when it's even an ease of burden on the orphanage home to take away the child, be in their care and cater for him or her since some of these children were not even originally orphans but some of them were just being rejected by their biological parents and got dumped at the entrance of the orphanage home or somewhere disgusting where someone reasonable thought of bringing them to the orphanage home for proper care.
We may see it like these prospective parents are actually doing a favour even if it means a favour to themselves as well, changing their tags as no-child couples to been called a parent but then if all these strict rules and policies are taken away and feel less strict, then there will be so much abuse to the children.
Even those who aren't with a good reason of adopting a child would come taking these children and by then there won't even be a case of child trafficking anymore as it will even be legally acquired based on pretense, unknowingly to the firm on what original purpose such child was adopted of which would cause more harm than good.
Some of these initial good intentional couples who are of low intelligence even end up abusing these adopted children once they have their own biological child/children. At times, it might even be sexual abuse or the most rampant cases of physical abuse.
I once saw a movie whereby the child was adopted and been taken cared of with love and care by the foster parents which practical left no traces of the child been adopted or a biological child of the family but along the couple fell out of love or should I say perseverance for one another and they got divorced but by then they already had a daughter.
After a while, the woman who was in possession of the adopted child started having sexual intercourse with the boy up till he became a teenager and this really affected the boy so much that he saw sex as something he should do on a daily basis. Unfortunately for the woman, the boy started having it with her daughter too at a very early stage of her life.
These and more are the type of unfortunate incidents that happens to these children who ends up with unreasonable parents for adoption whereas some have good and great parents who would always be there for the children they adopted.
So for me, I support these strict policies and processes as long it keeps these children safe from harms way even if it's still not guaranteed but then, it curbs or reduces the rate of falling into the wrong hands as it will be better for them to stay in those orphanage homes than be abused and maltreatment in strange hands of bad prospective parents.
