When something is so essential that in as much as you think it is easy to deviate from your primary act in the process of wanting more, you still don't want to let go because you can't do without it and that's what MONEY is.
I've seen many people on the arguments about being rich or not, either having so much money or just to be able to cater for your daily needs and some people would end their argument on the fact that the more money you have the more problems you get or the more devilish you become. I can't really say about that cos I'm not rich yet.
We all have our mentality or orientations around matters and our views are always different. The same way our visions and dreams may not align so no matter how we may see it, money is still very important in our lives. Even the scripture distinguished that part cos it didn't say money is the root but "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil". I hope you get those bold words.
It's not that the money itself is the problem but when the love to get the money becomes odd and we could actually go to any length to get it no matter the consequences then it may become evil. I recently registered on an app in the search for money and I ended up seeing the length at what some ladies are doing to get money into their wallets. It felt so embarrassing but still we meeuv.
What can we do in this world without this so-called money? Absolutely nothing. Serving God as a creation even requires money as you have to transit to church or our places of worship. I remember how it has been kind of difficult to run virtual praise sessions as a gospel minister since last year because of the whole expenses surrounding it without sponsorship from anyone.
A popular artist here sang and said money is not happiness but make the money first, lol.
No matter how bad it has become, we can still balance streaming for more money and still standing our ground on our principles of living and not deviating to doing bad or being bad.
Taking the instance I gave above there about the app where I saw what some ladies were doing, I could have joined in doing same cos it would fetch me so much but then I know it is not right and even if I get the money because I felt like it's a closed platform with no one who knows me, what about my conscience and what if it ends up been a loophole in future, destroying a vision I've been struggling to build on and actualize.
When our conscience works right and is still very active then there is no way we would get lost in the race to get rich no matter how needy we may be because it will be so difficult for us to do what is bad.
At the end of the day, after doing all sort of bad things just to be able to cater for family and personal needs, even those family you outstretched for will be the first to point fingers at you.
