I want to share my experience saying the truth while telling lies would have saved my ass in the situation.
The incident happened of recent when I witness a motorcycle accident and was trying to make justice for the cyclist that is right and to tell the other that he his guilty.
This faithful morning, I was sitting at the fueling station where I do pack my car anytime I am less busy,and was playing with one of the attendant at the station and at the same time paying attention to everything that is happening around, a bus driver was trying to make a u-turn in a wrong place and a bike man coming with full speed was trying to dodge the bus driver so he won't hit him, suddenly he maneuver to the other side of the road where he ram into another bike man coming and before we notice it they are already soaked with blood.
The police came to inspect the incident and was asking questions from people around. They(police) ask me questions and I said YES, this is how the accident happen, I witnessed everything that happened and before I know what is happening they said I should follow them to the station to write statement of how the incident happen.
Following them to the station is not even my problem that day but when I got to the station they waste the whole of the day for me and I have to visit the station everyday because I said I witness the accident. I did not have time for myself anymore not to talk of going to work for the day.
If I had know, when they ask if I know what happen that day I should have told them I don't know anything.
