Whenever someone is sick, they go to the doctor so that their illness can be treated. The doctor is their Christ. When the patient recovers, they offer many prayers to the doctors.
But when the patient reaches the hospital and finds out that the doctors are on strike and his treatment is not possible, then think about what will happen to the patient and his family members. When their treatment is not possible, they must return without getting treatment and taking medicines.
The relationship between doctors and patients is very close because patients go to the doctor for treatment and not to an engineer or a lawyer. In this sense, it makes their relationship stronger.
One thing is clear that doctors are also human beings and they also need facilities. If their salary is low or there is a lack of facilities in the hospital or whatever their demands are, if they are not met, they go on strike and until these demands are met, they do not suspend the strike call
These are painful days for patients when doctors are on strike because the OPD is closed, laboratories are also on strike, and there is no staff in the emergency department, due to which patients face a lot of difficulties, and some patients go back in despair. They are forced to get their treatment done in a private hospital where they have to pay expensive doctors' fees and medicines are also very expensive or they have to buy them by force
The government should meet the legitimate demands of these doctors and form such committees that settle matters with them before the strike and try to fulfill their legitimate demands, whether it is a measure for facilities in the hospital or a reduction in their salaries, the government should take timely action and form such a committee to settle matters with two doctors. The representatives of MA doctors and the representatives of the NGOs that are on behalf of the patients should be included in this committee so that the legitimate demands can be reviewed and efforts can be made to fulfill them as soon as possible.
In recent days, there have been some incidents when doctors were on strike and protesting, and patients were forced to stumble from door to door and they were not in any good condition. There were lines in hospitals, and only one message was written on the board Doctors are on strike.
The most important thing is, as I have mentioned above, that a doctor is like a messiah for the patient, and saving the lives of patients is more important than their own demands. But some doctors are busy increasing their salaries and do not pay attention to the patients. They are only interested in their salary and not in saving the patients. In my opinion, such doctors are not sincere towards the patients. They should not be listened to and all the benefits should be withdrawn from them so that they realize that the patients are the most important and not their salary or their patronage.
